PROJEKT ARRS J7-1817: 5000 YEARS OF GRAZING AND MINING ACTIVITIES IN THE JULIAN ALPS (SLOVENIA) (2019-2022)

will complete palynological analysis at Lake Bled and Šijec peat bog. Maja has 20 years of experience with studies of Late-glacial and Holocene vegetation development and human impact on the environment. Her research is based on the use of high-resolution pollen analyses of sedimentary cores, with an emphasis on diverse, multi-proxy team-work crossing traditional disciplinary boundaries, and international cooperation.
