The laboratory offers grain size analysis services using wet dispersion on laser diffraction grain size analyser Malvern Mastersizer 3000.

We can measure samples not soluble in water over a range of 0.01 and 2000 μm.

Options for additional sample processing include:

- sub-sampling (i.e., additional measurements on one sample),

- chemical pretreatment (carbonate removal with hydrochloric acid),

- weighing (0,01 mg resolution).

Clear and simple sample identification systems reduce the likelihood of errors. For large sample sets, please send by e-mail an Excel spreadsheet listing the samples in a logical order.

Please tell us if we are handling hazardous samples.

Unless we make another arrangement at client request, we will retain leftover sample materials for one year, then dispose of them.
