The internal call for the Development Funding Pillar for 2025 is now open.

II. International Breakthrough (razpis, prijavni obrazci)

The activities aim to strengthen ZRC SAZU's integration into the European Research Area (ERA) and the broader international space while encouraging top-quality research results.

The schemes are as follows:

Scheme II1: Incentive for Preparing International Project Proposals

• Ex ante incentive for EU Framework Programmes; partial coverage of proposal preparation costs for selected programmes.

• Ex post incentive for EU Framework Programmes; reimbursement of part of the costs for well-evaluated but unsuccessful proposals submitted to selected programmes.

Scheme II2: Support for Excellent Publications; Reimbursement of part of the material costs of publication.

Scheme II3: Path to an Excellent Publication

• II3a: Completion of Past Research; funding to cover activities needed to finalize existing research and prepare a publication.

• II3b: Promising Future Research; funding to prepare a publication that will enhance competitiveness for the next call.

Scheme II4: Hosting Foreign Researchers; One- to three-month hosting of foreign researchers at ZRC SAZU.

Deadlines for submitting applications under the various schemes differ and are specified in the call.
