The 2nd Deadline for the Interreg SI-AT Call

Public Call for Small-Scale Projects
Published on: December 12, 2024

The 2nd deadline for submitting proposals for small-scale projects under the Interreg SI-AT call is approaching. The deadline is December 10, 2024, at 12:00 PM.

Under the first round of the public call, which concluded in July last year, 19 small-scale projects were funded, committing slightly more than 50% of the available funds for this type of project. As a result, nearly EUR 400,000 from the European Regional Development Fund remains available for potential applicants.

The subject of the call for small-scale projects is the co-financing of projects that effectively contribute to the visibility of the programme by strengthening trust and cooperation between people, in line with the "better cooperation governance" priority and its specific objective: "strengthening trust and cooperation between people".

Within this specific objective, joint activities and initiatives that foster cooperation among people and civil society institutions will be supported. The aim of this objective is to create multi-layered connections and joint actions involving people and civil society institutions across the border. Infrastructure and construction activities are not eligible under this specific objective. However, the purchase of equipment or minor complementary investments may be possible in cases where they demonstrably contribute to achieving the goals of this priority.

Types of activities to be financed include: organizing joint meetings, workshops, events, etc., exchanging information, knowledge, experiences, and staff, creating joint structures and measures on the thematic areas addressed.

The supported measures will address areas such as: people-to-people projects for information exchange, network development, joint initiatives, innovative pilot activities, awareness-raising, and trust-building; areas like education, cultural heritage, culture, social initiatives, social economy, local development, and environmental and nature protection.

Under this specific objective, support for investments in infrastructure is not foreseen.
